We’ve always been drawn to a simpler, slower, more beautiful way of life. The kind you might read about in old novels or see captured in vintage photographs. There’s something deeply fulfilling about the idea of wearing clothing that takes you back to those times as if you were there, too.
The world nowadays feels increasingly chaotic, so we dreamt of a wardrobe that could take you back to a gentler, calmer reality which once existed. The puff sleeves, the long flowy dresses, the floral prints... The good ol' days.
It wasn’t just about aesthetics, it was a way of feeling connected to those moments and memories that made life truly magical.
The Reality
But when we shopped around, there wasn't much to satisfy that desire. On one hand, there were horribly made clothes from cheap websites (you know which ones we're talking about) that hardly last a single wear. But it looked so cute in the photos...
On the other, there were beautiful pieces priced so high they felt out of reach. Maybe I'll treat myself to a $500 dress once a year! ...Maybe.
